A message from Tyree's Dad

Tyree,

As I have been with you every day for the past few weeks, I can't help but feel the warm embrace of all of the prayers and expressions of love that have been given to us as a family. I can't help or stop the tears that come as I read the expressions of love and support that everyone has extended to all of us and our extended family.

I was promised years ago that I someday would see the time when the windows of Heaven would open and the blessings of Heaven would fall upon me as the dews from our Father in Heaven. I have seen miracles in many forms, small and large that have taken place during our time or sorrow. These have not been the miracle that I wanted most but they have come from
all of you who have been here to give of your unconditional love and support.

I thank you for that. I feel the out-stretched arms of my brother who is traveling in Europe and calls almost daily, Tyree's friend Shelley in Australia, our family in Mexico, those from all around the United States and for all of you who live here so close and have come to visit and those of you who have called and expressed you concerns and shown true compassion in our behalf.

We have felt the true love of Christ as each of you have lifted us up in this time of sorrow in our family. We have a religious belief that we will some day all be resurrected and be able to see our loved ones again. It is with this faith and knowledge that we are able to go forward with hope for our lives to continue.

We look forward to helping Chris and his family raise their angel, Jocelyn and Tyler.

May the Lord bless us all,

Your loving father Ivan

I never had the pleasure of meeting Tyree, but if she is anything like her sisters Ericka and Shiloh I would be happy to know her. I have not seen either of them since they were in high school with my little sister but I do have very fond memories of them.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of sorrow and miracles.

Tyree, Erika and Shiloh have been in and out of my house for years. They didn't even need to knock. And Ivan - you have helped more people without charging them than there are stars in the heavens. You would always say "I'll get paid in blessings." Now it is your turn for those blessings - which we are all praying for - especially peace. In reference to the kind of family you are and how you're handling things I can only say,"Well done, thou good and faithful servant(s)." The love and prayers from all of the Glenn and Ball families pour out to you.

Dear Johnson Family,

Tyree has always had such a precious spirit about her, and has touched so many hearts. She has truly made this world a better place for her presence. We want to express our continuing thoughts and prayers for all of you. We send you our love.

I read about your daughter's condition on a PPCM website I am on. I too have cardiomyopathy, discovered after the birth of my 4th child.

I just want you to know that your entire family is in my prayers and those prayers include strength for your family as you go through this horrific time. I've just cried as I've read this blog. There is just so much to learn about this disease and to educate our medical providers and mothers to watch out for the symptoms of PPCM.

I am praying for you and know that you have lots of support with you every day.

Tyree, you are a beauitful young woman and such a great example of someone who has spent her lifetime spreading seeds of joy and love everywhere you go. Thank you for
blessing my life and countless others!

I greatly appreciated the opportunity to see you Sunday and visit with your family. All this week I've have been thinking about the many wonderful things you have done over the past 29 years.

I know the youth at EFY were greatly influenced by your vibrant
spirit . . your genuine love,
enthusiasm for life, and living the type of life that would exemplify our Savior's.

I know that each girl in the YW's
program will never forget you.
I know that your friends in each place you've lived will always look back and say "Thank you for
touching my life and because of you I'm a better person."

You have been planting seeds in an eternal garden of Heaven. I keep thinking of a song Larry Lee and I wrote entitled "Flowers in Heaven". I would like to share the words because they remind me so much of you.

FLOWERS IN HEAVEN
Words: Larry Lee
Music: Kathleen Holyoak

There are gardens up in Heaven
that are planted with our seeds;
They grow in hills and valleys
that are free of thorns and weeds.

Every little act of kindness,
Happy thoughts and cheerful deeds,
Will blossom in the gardens
If we send the Lord the seeds.

WE CAN PLANT FLOWERS IN HEAVEN,
SEEDS THAT GROW IN COLORS OF THE RAINBOW.
WE CAN PLANT FLOWERS IN HEAVEN
BY THE LOVE WE SHOW.

We are like the blooms of Springtime
And the colored Autumn leaves;
We fill the fields and valleys
And become God's golden sheaves.

As we grow up in life's garden
We can harvest many seeds
By reaching out to others
With our joyful thoughts and deeds.

WE CAN PLANT FLOWERS IN HEAVEN,
SEEDS THAT GROW IN COLORS OF THE RAINBOW.
WE CAN PLANT FLOWERS IN HEAVEN
BY THE LOVE WE SHOW,
BY THE LOVE WE SHOW.

My love, thoughts, and prayers are continually with you.

I was greatly touched by your father's comments recently added to the blog. You are blessed with
a great family not only on earth but also in Heaven who are always waiting with open arms.

Bushels of love,
Kathy H.

God bless and keep Tyree and all her family. As a researcher and publisher on PPCM issues it is my continuing hope that we may learn more about PPCM and Tyree may certainly contribute to that. Please feel to reach me through the message boards of www.amothersheart.org. Thoughts and prayers, JD Fett, MD

My thoughts and prayers are with you during your difficult time. I heard about Tyree through the message board amothersheart.org. I also was diagnosed with a cardiomyopathy, after the birth of my first child. I know that God is watching over your precious Tyree and her family.

I have cried every time I read the blog and I have prayed for each and every one of you. I have been so worried about Jennifer that hearing from Ivan brought it to another level for me. God is amazing and his miracles are seldom what we would ask for but I promise you that when the dark days come and they will come he will carry you. I love you all so much and I will never stop praying for you all I bet you all could use a massage right about now. God bless

Here are some of my favorite memories of Tyree. She was the first person who had introduce herself to me when I first came to the new ward. Also we became really good friends. Last year in April 06, we went to her house to watch conference together. Then in February 07, she helped me prepare for my son's Birthday party. She had came with me to my son eye appointment in Prescott Valley. then we went shopping afterwards. She had also helped my husband an i with our son's birthday party. I will surely will miss her bunches. She will always be my best friend forever. Jilyn Jauregui

Tyree & Family,

I am home now and miss y'all already. I so enjoyed my visit and it truly helped me wrap my brain around all that has happened.

What I admire most about your family is the ability to continue to laugh through it all...
especially Chris. I know that every day we all grow a little more tense because we don't know what Heavenly Father has in store for us but I am sure it will be worth it.

My love to EVERYONE!

Keep laughing,

Vida

Just wanting you to know you are all in my prayers. I obviuosly do not need to remind everyone her that you can never underestimate the power of prayer. I have PPCM, and I also had a stroke, nad prayer is what kept me sane, and still does.

Keep the faith alive!!!

Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I have felt so touched and moved to both sadness and hope upon reading your posts and all of the loving responses.

I also developed PPCM several months ago and was a YW Pres. in the Fairfield ward, Mesa North stake, coincidentally, at the time, so I feel a kinship with Tyree although I've never met her. I cannot tell you how much my heart goes out to her husband, parents, and all of Tyree's family and friends. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Please inform us about a trust fund for Jocelyn and any more that we can do. God be with you.

Ivan, Jennifer, Travis and all of Tyree's beautiful family. It is so touching to see how much love, faith, support and prayers you have from all over the world. Ivan your letter to Tyree was eloquent, inspiring and loving. Connor and I will always have you, your family and Tyree in our prayers.
