Dear family and friends,

I only knew Ty and her beautiful daughter a short time. She and Jocelyn attended a weekly baby massage class, and I was priviledged to witness the beautiful bond between them. I and all the participants of the class are deeply saddened for the loss of Ty in this world. I am so encouraged by all of the beautiful writings and pictures on this site. It is so very apparent how much this incredible woman, wife and mother is loved by all. She was very fortunate indeed for all the love and prayers. We, as well have been blessed to know her at all. My prayers are with you all.
The class also sends its love. Sincerely, Olga Morris, Infant Massage Instructor.

There are no words that can express how much I will miss Tyree. I am sure that I only feel a small portion of the loss that her husband and family must feel. I can only take comfort in the plan of salvation.

An abundant amount of prayers and thoughts are with ya'll.

I happened to be listening to an instrumental version of the beatles song "My Life" while reading one of the updates on Tyree. It seemed to me that it had the perfect message from her to all of us but more specifically to her husband and children.

MY LIFE by the Beatles

There are places i'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends i still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life i've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When i think of love as something new
Though i know i'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know i'll often stop and think about them
In my life i love you more

Though i know i'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know i'll often stop and think about them
In my life i love you more
In my life i love you more

I also listened online to Presiden Monson's conference talk from the Saturday Morning session. I found myself wondering if Tyree had listened to that session and that talk and how grateful I am that today was the day that I heard it because there is so much comfort there.

Please know that I will be there with you all in spirit tomorrow and that my prayers will be with you all.

I would like to post this so that our little group out here in Covington, Georgia who loved Tyree so much, can get together to honor her memory.

We will be gathering together Friday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, Covington Georgia at 6:00pm (Ga time).

We will share and remember for a while, the great times and strong spirit that were so much a part of Tyree. We ask that everyone wear something white and/or with daisies in her honor. We will take a group picture to put in the scrapbook for Jocelyn.

Please know that our thoughts are with each family member and our hearts are full of love and concern for all of you. Please do not forget us, we will be here on the otherside of the world whenever you need a hand.
Tyree's spirit will always live strong in each of us and I will be a better person for having known your sweet Ty!
God be with each of you!

Tyree:

I have known you most of your life, and what a blessing you have been. I have very fond memories of you that will never be forgotten. I remember babysitting you, you coming over to our pool parties, just plain having lots of fun with you, your brothers and sisters and my two kids. You have been a joy to know as well as being loved by all who know you. For the short time that Merle has known you, you have touched his heart. He feels very blessed for knowing you.

You have crossed over to be with our heavenly father. You will be greatly missed by all and to you Tyree, Merle and I say so long for now until we meet again in heaven.

We love you,
Merle & Sue Sutton

My heart has been so heavy today, as Tyree’s life is celebrated and honored and her mortal body laid to rest. Clearly her life impacted so many others for good. What a beautiful Woman, Wife and Mother. What a special legacy she leaves behind.

Thank you for allowing each of us to be a part of your family for the past few weeks – for the chance to reflect on memories we made with Tyree and to learn of those special experiences she had with others around the world. While I haven’t quite known what to say and how to articulate my thoughts, I have checked the blog often each day for updates and appreciated the feelings others have shared. Many members of the Johnson family have had an impact on members of my family in a variety of ways and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to think back on those experiences, reflecting on the blessings that have come along the way because of those dear friendships.

As others have experienced, a song I loved while growing up has been playing over and over in my mind for the past few weeks. Don’t recall who wrote it … not even sure if these are the correct lyrics and this surely isn’t the song in its entirety, but the general idea is there… I only wish I could recall it in greater detail...

The Circle of a Woman’s Reach will far outlast the time
It started oh so long ago and still goes on the rhyme
The poetry, the majesty, the beauty and the love
If we could see in you and me our Mother up above

A woman is so many things she’s sensitive and wise
And who knows what this world could be if see through woman’s eyes
She teaches hope she teaches faith she teaches charity
In service to her fellow man and to her family

A daughter first a woman next a wife and mother too
We have so many gifts to give so many things to do
We know the way and when in time our circle is complete …
With our husbands and loved ones we’ll go hand in hand
To our Father and Mother where circles began

The Circle of a Woman’s Reach will far outlast the time
It started oh so long ago and still goes on the rhyme
The poetry, the majesty, the beauty and the love
If we could see in you and me our Mother up above

Tyree is certainly a reflection of our Heavenly Mother.

Much love,
Holly (Alldredge) Russell & Family
