Who Tyree is...As some of you have never met her

I decided I would tell you a little about Tyree as I know we have many people reading our blog who have never met her. First I say thanks to all who are a part of this unified faith endeavour!
Tyree just turned 29 last week and has a beautiful 3 1/2 month old baby girl named Jocelyn. She is married to Chris Miller, has custody of her nephew Tyler and they all live in Cottonwood, AZ. She loves the color lavender and butterflies are one of her favorite items to decorate her daughter's room with. She is the master baker--chocolate chip cookies (no recipe required!) are her speciality, but anything with chocolate is bound to be on her menu! She loves the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She goes to great lengths to serve others and has a personality that just can't help but rub off. She is determined in her decisions and doesn't back down from what she believes in. She currently serves as the Young Women's President in her home ward. The young women love her and she absolutely adores them. She has worked with young women in Georgia as well and still considers them to be her 'girls'. She has a special and unique gift for working with young people. She loves to watch shows in the Discovery channel about forensics and medicine. She gets grossed out by bugs and insects. Don't even mention cockroaches to her! She has a thing with people's feet being near her (especially if they are barefoot!) and loves to have her hair burshed.
I am sure if you have read this far, you too have been touched by her and know many more things about her. Please continue this discussion of how she is (please only in the present tense) by leaving your comments below. Thanks

Tyree is enthusiastic about life, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Anyone who is around her walks away happier. She has a great sense of humor and keeps everyone laughing. It doesn't suprise me to hear of her influence on the youth in her ward. She is so funny! I haven't seen her for a few years, but I remember her keen ability to laugh at herself and not take things too seriously.

Another quality I love about Tyree is her spirituality. She is strong in her convictions, and I remember that tears will easily come to her when she is touched... which in turn touches others.
She is just an overall wonderful person, someone you can't help but love!

As Tyree's best friend since 1st grade, I remember all of the great times we've had. I remember the sports teams that we played on: Basketball and Volleyball in particular. She loved Basketball...and was always better than me. :)

She is also one of the most creative people I've ever met. I remember that we were bored one night, so we decided to go to the mall to play tricks on people. She thought it would be fun to glue a quarter to the floor right in front of the main fountain in Fashion Square and stand at the top of the fountain to see how many people would try to pick it up. We just laughed at all of the people that tried to pick it up and their faces. Finally...a little kid came by and actually got it lose. We couldn't believe that the kid could actually do that.

Then there was the blind date that she set me up on. I won't go into the details of the names of the individuals...but she ended up getting the bad end of the deal. She then told me that I would definitely have to make it up to her. I think I did when I agreed to go with her to play ping pong with a guy named Chris Miller and his friend. I'm so glad to be able to say that I was there for their first date. She was so happy to have met him...and I was so happy when she decided to marry him.

I could tell tons of stories of how Tyree has touched my life. She has been the best friend that a person could have ever asked for. She shared with me her religion, but never forced it on me and was never judgmental. Although I may have chosen to do things that were not within her beliefs, she has always been there to support me and my choices.

I think the best thing that I got to experience with her was the birth of her daughter Jocelyn. She was so excited when she got pregnant....and as many of you know...I'm not the best with little kids. :) She just thought that that was so funny, because we all know how great she is with them. I remember her face and all of the funny things she said when she was in the delivery room...she'll have to read them to you when she's feeling better.:)

She is my best friend and a true inspiration to everyone she meets. Ty...you're in my thoughts and prayers...and I still have some things that we need to do together. I can't wait for you to wake up. I want to tell you about all of the fun I had with Jocelyn the other day...and yes...I finally do get along with a little kid. :)

I love you.

I'm one of Ty's GA girls. She is my absolute best friend, and she has become a major part of my life over the past few years. Tyree loves to laugh, and I love making her laugh. She always tells it like it is, and she doesn't care if you don't like what she has to say. She loves movies, especially ones that make her laugh. Don't let her see a scary movie, because she has a hard time remembering it's make believe. If I had to desribe her in one word, it would be, TYREE!

Tyree and I met while in high school. She always made me laugh and feel comfortable around her. She is so caring and loving. I remember about two or three years ago, when she and Chris came to AZ when they still lived in GA. We met at Arizona Mills about Christmas time and she was so nice to my little girl. I am so happy that she now has her own little girl! I know that she is a great mommy! Tyree always made me feel like I mattered and she always treated me with kindness and respect. She is such a wonderful person, she will make it through this. I also remember something about her not liking to be around someone when they are filing their nails. Just an interesting tidbit that I've remembered all of these years. You are loved Tyree, by all of those you have touched throughout your life. It's not over yet! You have many more to touch with your smile and laughter. Thank you for being such a great friend!

I find this so difficult to write about such a wonderful person during a not so wonderful situation. My family and I are all deeply saddened by this bump in the road for Tyree. I think of what a kind, happy, and caring person she is. Reading all of the comments everyone has left is proof of what a positive influence she has on people. I feel like her strength and the faith of such a great family will pull her through this. Tyree, we all love you so much and have kept a continual prayer in our hearts for you. This has definately made me contemplate what a blessing it is to know that there is a purpose for all things and knowing that I have been so privelaged to be your cousin and around such a positive, fun loving person has strengthened my faith. I know we will all get to laugh again, smile, and see you show your unconditional love for others soon. With much love, cousin Carrie

although it has been many years since sweet Tyree and i have seen each other, she is a one-of-a-kind girl who is unforgettable. tyree has a smile and a laugh that is infectious. tyree's happy attitude is a joy to be around. tyree is a kind, sweet, wonderful, and humble person. tyree adores her family and everyone knows that.

one of my fondest memories of tyree is doing our childhood "roadshow" together-- it was A Toy Story-- and we had the best time together.

i can only imagine that tyree's little baby is an even better, happier version of her mother! she is one very lucky little girl.

i love you, tyree, and i'll talk to you soon.

all my love,

I have known Tyree and her family since they moved in next door to me. They are such a good family I was thrilled to have met them all. Sometimes I talked with Tyree on her back porch. I come to know her as a kind, friendly, caring and concerned person to all people she came in contact with through out her life. I have been very concerned for her these past few weeks. And Hoped to God that she would recover. I am sorry to find out that is not so. I will miss her very much. And hope that God welcome her and will protect her family the best he can. I will think of her often and if I can would be assistance to them if they should call on me. May God bless and keep them as he has with Tyree in her short life. I would like to express my condolences to Chri, Tyler and Jocylyn.
