Tyree has been moved! (updated)

Last night, it was decided that Ty would be moved to Barrow Neurological Center in Central Phoenix. A bed opened up and they transfered her around midnight. She has already had a stress test on her heart and she will receive a pacemaker so as to help it. She will also have a trach tube inserted in her neck instead of the tube going in her mouth. This will enable her to begin to vocalize. She has also been off of the sedation medication for since she got there. We are very excited for this. We'll keep you posted as we learn more this morning. Thank you to all of Ty's great doctors and nurses at Estrella Mountain for helping us with Ty this week. We express gratitude for all that you've done to make this next transition possible.
We'll let everyone know in our 'blog community' what's happening today at Barrow. We don't know how they are with visitors yet but do know there is no internet in the room and cell phones are totally banned to downstairs. We'll keep you posted. Love to all!

My Dearest Friend,
How happy I am for you and your family to hear that you are doing better, I know my husband feels the same way and is glad to see that I'm crying now for joy then for sadness. I know one of your family will read this to you, and I hope all your family knows that when your well, me and Robert would love to have them all to our home for a celebration barbaque, I'll get Robert to make his bbq ribs, and I'll make the deserts,(especially anything chocolate). I made my cinnamon rolls yesterday and used honey as the sticking agent, they taste great. Hope that soon you'll be here to have one.
Miss you tons,
Leisha S

Tyree,

I just want you to know that you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers as you make your recovery at Barrows. Your husband, Chris was so strong yesterday. You would have been so proud to hear him in the chapel. He is truly the incredible man that we knew you would some day find.

I know that you heard us talking with the neurologist in your room yesterday...and I am so thankful that you opened your eyes when not only I could witness it...but when he was there, too...and even under sedation! I must say that in all of my time up there, that was the first time that I saw a doctor excited! If you didn't hear him when he continually tried to pinch you...he did say that he was sorry for having to continue to do that...but if you would have just slapped him...he would have stopped. :)

Anyway...your progress yesterday proved to me that you're still fighting. I can't wait to tell you about all of the things that have happened since you've been sleeping. Get well soon!

Love
Laree

So exciting! I just love reading the updates and hearing about the progress. Keep the details coming! It also seems like a central Phoenix location will be easier on everyone, so this is just wonderful news.
Go Tyree!

Hi Tyree!!!! This is going to say it is from Vida, but it's really from Trina and Arielle Blocker. Our computer has gone crazy and we have been trying to write to you for days now so Vida said to come here. Oh, Tyree, you have had us so worried, but it sounds like you are coming back to us. We are so happy. I knew someone with your strength and your spunk could never let something like this keep you down. You are so amazing and we are all praying for you. I've never seen Arielle so shaken up as she was when I told her you were sick, but we decided you were way to tough and have way too many people who love you and pray for you for this to get you. You just keep fighting and you'll be holding baby Jocelyn before you know it. We love you and will be expecting a visit to Covington just as soon as you beat this. Heavenly Father is with you, Tyree, and He is going to help you get through it. Love, Trina and Arielle

Go Tyree!!
Glad to here you are in a better hospital, you have a great family who is listening to the spirit as well as the doctors....and I know sometimes the spirit knows much more than some book smart doctor. They are all working hand in hand with the Lord and it is obviously creating a miracle.
We love you and miss you and enjoy reading the updates on how you are doing, we pray for you every day. Mandi crys abit, because she doesn't understand, I assure her that God knows your name, he knows your desire to be a great wife and mother, he knows of your testimony and the obedience and faith that you have...he will not forsake you :)
Lucas..(the little TRACHE man) thinks it's cool you'd have a trache like him, and Gina Ann loves you and says she still prays..and she will pray for you! Luke and Grace know how much you mean to Mandi and the rest of us and they say hi and get well soon!
Take care, Take it easy and let God take control! See you soon!
Cindy
